Our Mission

Kindness that lives on

Abbi's legacy is one of unwavering kindness and compassion. Despite her own struggles with osteosarcoma, she dedicated herself to lifting the spirits of others — especially the pediatric patients she met along the way. At just 25, Abbi's light continues to inspire us to be compassionate, joyful, and selfless.

Our mission is to keep Abbi's legacy alive by giving back to the children and young adults who are navigating their own journeys. With your donations — whether monetary or the gift of toys, books, and gift cards — we make sure that Abbi is still able to put a smile on every child's face.

About Abbi

A girl with the biggest heart

Abbi was born on April 9th, 1999, in Daytona Beach, Florida — a beautiful baby girl with big blue eyes, curly blonde hair, and a smile that could light up any room. From the very beginning, she had a joyful spirit and the sweetest giggle, the kind that could turn even the hardest day into something brighter.

As she grew, Abbi's heart only grew bigger. She welcomed her baby brother, John Robert, on May 7th, 2002, and from that moment on, she embraced her role as a big sister with love and pride. When her second brother, Karter William, was born on November 24th, 2003, Abbi's world became even fuller. In 2010, her family grew again with sisters Hailey and Sara, brother Dale, and a beloved father figure she called Mr. John.

Abbi spent her early school years at Sugar Mill Elementary and Cypress Creek Elementary, later attending Hinson Middle School and Mainland High School. From a young age, she loved trying new things — dance lessons at three, t-ball, soccer. But her heart truly belonged to people. She found her joy out and about, surrounded by friends, laughing, talking — the true social butterfly she was.

Abbi blossomed into a beautiful young woman who carried kindness wherever she went. She had a gentle, compassionate soul and genuinely cared about others in a way that made people feel seen, comforted, and loved.

Her Fight, Her Heart

Even in her hardest moments,
her thoughts were of others

In May of 2023, Abbi was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Despite being 24 years old, she was treated on the pediatric floor — as it is a disease most often seen in children. This meant long days and even longer nights, traveling two hours each way for treatment, and countless nights in the hospital after chemotherapy.

But even in the middle of her own battle, Abbi's heart never turned inward — it reached outward. Hearing a baby cry or a toddler in pain would break her heart. She didn't focus on her own suffering.

"She would ask, simply,
'What can I do for them?'"

Abbi dreamed of bringing joy to those children — of delivering toys and jewelry to the hospital to give them something to smile about during their hardest days.

After Abbi's passing in 2025, we made that dream a reality.
